JUMP INTO A BOOK
Fridays from 9am-11:30am

Jump into a Book is a preschool enrichment class which uses literature as a theme.  This class is designed for children aged 3-5.  Each week the students will use a different piece of children’s literature as a jumping board to explore, music, art, cooking, science, math and creative play.

Books are chosen so as not to replicate stories used in other preschool classrooms. For example: most preschool classes read the story called The Mitten in January so Jump Into A Book will instead read The Mystery of the Missing Red Mittens.

Centers for this class focus on parts of the story and incorporate art, science, math, creative play and STEM activities.  A highlight of this class for the children is “cooking” their own snack.
